Ultrafabrics, global leader in performance textiles across 11 markets, has just announced its 2024/25 color trend report for its brand partners. The annual release, designated the Color Impact Report, is a forecast that empowers designers and specifiers to design for the future.
Ultrafabrics’ annual Color Impact report is carefully curated by the Color Lab, its internal braintrust of forward-thinking product developers in collaboration with a renowned global trend forecasting agency. Leveraging extensive industry expertise, this report delves into the anticipated impact of color and texture on design across various markets for the years ahead.
The team from the Ultrafabrics Color Lab released this statement about its vision for the coming year:
At the peak of technological advancement, it’s almost as if we’ve hit a glitch in the system. 2024 is beginning to look like an “Infinite Loop” where we cycle between unfathomable technological advancement and the longing for the familiar. We are teetering on the edge, placing our toes in the water, but hesitating on taking the big dive in. Consumers have been baited with the carrot of convenience for some time, and when faced with that realization, many are questioning whether or not convenience is king.
Amidst a changing world of many uncertainties, from geopolitical to economic and climate, society is feeling the blow. However, these pressures create the perfect environment for creativity to truly start to flow. For 2024/2025, we can feel the energy pulsing back and forth through the works of the world’s artists and designers –– an “Infinite Loop”, reflecting the moment of where we are going and where we have been.
The Ultrafabrics team is pleased to offer a one-on-one presentation of the five trends with a curated selection of images of the latest fashion, architecture, art and industrial design. The presentation creates an inspiring thesis and design narrative that can inform anyone’s design process.
