Herefordshire, October 2024 – Wye Valley Brewery is excited to announce the release of two new additions to its popular range of canned beers: Dorothy Goodbody’s Glorious IPA and Shindig. Both are now available in 330ml cans, perfect for beer lovers seeking fresh takes on these brewery favourites.
Dorothy Goodbody’s Glorious IPA (6.0% ABV), a longtime fan favourite, makes its return. Previously available in bottles, this bold, flavourful IPA has been previously offered in 30L kegs at pubs. Now, for the first time, it can be purchased in cans, allowing a wider audience to enjoy its rich malt profile and hop-forward aroma.
Joining Dorothy Goodbody’s IPA is Shindig (4.1% ABV), a summer cask special that became a hit last year. Due to its popularity, Wye Valley Brewery has re-released it in can form, just in time for those who want to enjoy its light, refreshing taste all year round.
Both beers are available now from Wye Valley Brewery’s online shop and brewery store. They come in packs of 12 x 330ml or in a trio gift pack, which also includes Fandango. Additionally, the brewery will launch two more exciting canned beers, Avatar and Hopfather, later this year. Hopfather, currently available in 9-gallon casks and 500ml bottles, will also be kegged for pubs and released in cans.
“We’re thrilled to expand our range of canned beers by bringing back some old classics and recent favourites,” said Abbie Gadd, Head of Sales & Marketing at Wye Valley Brewery. “We’ve listened to our customers, and we’re excited to give them more ways to enjoy our beers at home.”
