From trying to sell her friends an old baguette to running a successful fashion business Stacey from Aigburth. Liverpool has always had an entrepreneurial streak and whilst obviously this is due to her tenacity and hard work she also credits a group of women called The Goals Gals that have helped her succeed.
Stacey is the founder of Femss a brand that specialises in creating a minimalist style that people of all body shapes will feel good in.
Stacey said:” I guess I’ve always had a mind for business at 8 years old I tried to sell an old French baguette I found on the floor to kids in the street as a “happy meal, luckily my business methods have become more ethical and over the years I have done many jobs from modeling to a business development executive. Whatever the job before Femss I always had a side hustle. I created Femss as I hated trying to find clothes, I have shape to my body, I’m not straight up and down, I loved the effortless designs of the luxury brands but my body just never seemed to fit in them, so I decided to the make clothes I want with a focus on how they fit women's bodies.”
“Working with The Goals Gals has helped me 100% in more ways than I could probably even explain, it’s the first place I go to vent if I’m stressed, it’s the place I go when I need an opinion or advice. They have helped me stay structured with what I need to be doing each week, month and year and I can trust them to be super honest and tell me what I don’t want to hear but need to hear, helping me get out of my head and see the bigger picture, as well as cheerleading me always.”
The Goals Gals, is an accountability mentorship for ambitious female millennial service providers that helps women across the globe to achieve their goals.
Ali King one of the founders of The Goals Gals said “We are so proud of Stacey and how far she has come in achieving her goals with Femss. We want to support more women in business like Stacey to help them achieve their goals and grow their businesses in a way that suits them. We offer an inclusive and supportive environment for women in business. We know how lonely it can be working for yourself and we aim to provide that accountability and support that you might get in a traditional work environment.”
