Introducing Heather Glanville, new Association Chair of Boundless

Boundless, the membership club for civil service and public sector workers, has announced a new Association Chair. Heather Glanville has been appointed as the first female chair in 45 years.

Having spent the last 20 years as a Boundless member, and more than 10 years in public service within the Probation Service, Heather is ideally placed to take the association into its next chapter.

Heather explains: “Boundless started as the CSMA (Civil Service Motoring Association), a motoring association offering benefits, discounts, fun and fellowship to its members. It’s all about people, and, much like the public sector itself, Boundless has a real heart and that’s why I’m so passionate about our organisation. I’m excited to be taking the club forward as the first woman in this position in nearly half a century!”

“In a world where there are more and more demands made upon us, we need to carefully choose how we spend our free time and the organisations in which we put our trust. My last 20 years as a Boundless member have shown me that time with our club is time well spent, and now, in my new post as Association Chair, I’m eager to share my passion with as many of our members as possible.”

Heather discovered the membership club on a weekend away with her in-laws who suggested she join. She then became involved in the club’s social committee, moving on to join the Club Council where in 2012 she became Deputy Leader and latterly in 2014 Leader.
