Approximately 110 recycled PET plastic bottles are used to produce one Charlie McLeod Eco Sports Cloak. Finding a use for this otherwise unwanted and highly polluting material. During the process, the plastic is chipped to a fibre that is then transformed into a yarn and ultimately the fabric to produce the inner and outer elements of the Sports Cloak. The nature of the process does not reduce the quality of the finished product with all the finer details of the standard Sports Cloak woven into the Eco Sports Cloak. The Charlie McLeod Driathlon is a savvy piece of kit – a tunic combining contemporary design with a highly absorbent Performance Microfibre that will dry you in seconds and is also a quick drying fabric, to ensure the garment is ready for your next session. Priced at £34.95, it comes in a range of colours and sizes, features a ‘New Zealand’ open neck collar, vented leg edged with tough contrast box stitching.
