Weston Park, the stately home on the Staffordshire/Shropshire border, has named Compton Care as its partner for 2026, supporting the charity’s vital work providing specialist palliative and end of life care to people living with complex conditions.

Compton Care, based in Compton, Wolverhampton, relies on the generosity of supporters, businesses and fundraising partners to continue delivering its services. Its mission is to provide high-quality, specialist palliative care, supporting people to live as well as possible for as long as possible, while offering care and comfort at the end of life.

Weston Park will be supporting Compton Care on its mission to raise £10 million their annual support services of which only 60% is funded through local community support.

By nominating Compton Care as its chosen charity partner, the team at Weston Park has pledged to raise funds through a wide variety of initiatives, including encouraging donations from visitors to the estate, adding optional donations to their event tickets and the setting up of donation stations. The partnership will focus on supporting Compton Care’s work across the local and regional community.

Colin Sweeney, CEO of the Weston Park Foundation - the independent charity that owns and maintains the historic house and grounds and is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year said:

“We are proud to be supporting Compton Care as our charity partner for 2026. Their work makes a profound difference to so many individuals and families, and we are delighted to be able to play a part in helping them to continue their essential services. This partnership reflects our commitment to supporting charities that have a meaningful impact within our local communities.”

Visitors to Weston Park will have the opportunity to support Compton Care throughout 2026.
