[London, Thursday 31st August] - The grounds of Laverstoke Park Farm in Hampshire bore witness to a transformative celebration of wellness, mindfulness, and empowerment during this year's SpaFest at CarFest with 30,000 visitors on site each day. From August 25th to 27th, SpaFest brought together wellness experts, advocates, and enthusiasts for an inspiring weekend that enlightened the mind, body, and spirit.

After its blossoming debut in 2022, SpaFest returned with even more vigour, offering a curated lineup of advocates, celebrities, and gurus who lead inspired discussions on a range of topics centred around well-being. The SpaFest Stage provided a platform for renowned personalities such as Dr Rangan Chatterjee and Eddy Temple-Morris to open their hearts and minds to an enthralled audience. The SpaFest Stage also hosted twins Lisa and Alana MacFarlane, who led a fascinating talk on gut health, as well as Vassos Alexander chatting to ParkRun founder Paul Sinton Hewitt on his adventures in creating a global phenomenon that encourages people to embrace the joy of running and community spirit.

Over at the Inspiration Hub, visitors had the privilege of hearing from top-tier experts who shared insights into adopting the latest health and wellness trends. These insightful discussions spanned diverse subjects, offering actionable takeaways to enhance well-being. Burnout Coach Charlene Gisele shared transformative techniques for alleviating anxiety by engaging the senses, while Patrick Melville highlighted the profound significance of finding purpose in one's life. Wholefood expert Eva Humphries also unveiled science-backed secrets to effective hangover cures.

Amongst the highlights of SpaFest was the presence of Joshua Coombes, the compassionate hairdresser recognised for his transformative ‘Do Something for Nothing’ movement. Dr. Louise Newson, Dr. Kathryn Patrick, and Dr. Rebecca Lewis united their expertise to break the taboos surrounding menopause, sparking empowering conversations. Notably, leading men's mental health advocate Tom Chapman, along with The Lions Barber Collective, returned to create a haven for candid conversations while providing fresh haircuts. Russell Brand even surprised guests with an impromptu meditation session in the idyllic forest landscapes!

Guests also had the opportunity to get physical, with The Studio hosting an array of revitalising workshops designed to keep bodies and spirits moving, including daily yoga and stretching sessions by Ally Boothroyd. Professional dancer Natalie Hall and her Fireflies team who led ballet classes for those affected by cancer, and Lavina Metha MBE inspired audiences with her feel-good energiser sessions. Attendees seeking a moment of relaxation and rejuvenation could also indulge in regular massages guided by a team of wellness experts.

The SpaFest Marketplace also made a triumphant return, offering a diverse array of ethical clothing, yoga equipment, fitness products, and plant-based produce for visitors to explore and embrace. This dedicated marketplace provided an avenue to delve deeper into wellness practices and take home nourishing items that resonated with their individual journeys.
