Where it all began

Like any family-run business the idea of Tigga Towers came from an unlikely source, in this case it was the family’s Maine Coon cat, Basher. A giant softie, Basher was a man with style and only the snuggliest beds would do. He also required a hardy scratch post and it quickly became apparent that most cat scratch posts just weren’t up to the job. A quick session with Basher and the post was lying on the floor, proving an unworthy opponent to this goliath of a cat, with the final straw coming when he pulled down the entire ceiling in the flat of Tigga Towers’ founder, Samantha Marsh, thanks to a supposedly” indestructible” cat tree giving up the ghost during one of Basher’s regular scratching sessions. After buying what felt like the 100th scratch post (and paying for the ceiling repairs), the idea to create a new generation of scratch posts and cat trees was born……and before they knew it, Tigga Towers was extending into gorgeous sumptuous beds for cats and small dogs.

10 years later and Tigga Towers is a fan favourite, especially the company’s brand ambassador, Santos, an incredibly handsome Maine Coon cat. A regular at consumer pet shows, and with a loyal social media following, Tigga Towers’ products have proven their worth with discerning pet owners and their four-legged friends. The bestselling – and Maine Coon tested(!) - Tigga Towers Scratching Towers have been designed to suit all homes, styles and fit cats of all sizes. The only modular systems of their type in the UK, each tower is built to last, and have been rigorously tested to ensure they can withstand years of naps, play and cat fights.
