Cobra adds new LT74HRL Hydrostatic Lawn Rider to its expanding ride-on range

Cobra has announced the launch of the LT74HRL Lawn Rider, a compact yet powerful ride-on mower designed to make maintaining larger lawns faster, easier and more enjoyable.  

The new addition sees Cobra continue to expand its presence in the lawn tractor and ride-on category following its entry into the sector in autumn 2024.  

The LT74HRL has been developed as an accessible entry point into the ride-on market, targeting homeowners managing larger gardens who want to step up from a walk-behind mower. Its 29” cutting width significantly reduces mowing time compared with traditional pedestrian mowers, making it ideal for properties where lawn care has become increasingly time-consuming. 

At the heart of the LT74HRL is a reliable 352cc OHV Loncin engine with electric start, providing effortless mowing performance for larger domestic lawns, estates and lifestyle properties. 

The lawn tractor’s hydrostatic transmission ensures intuitive, variable speed control without the need for manual gear changes, allowing users to adjust speed seamlessly while mowing. The LT74HRL reaches forward speeds of up to 7.3 km/h and 3.7 km/h in reverse, enabling efficient coverage of larger lawns while maintaining excellent manoeuvrability. The hydrostatic drive system also enhances usability by delivering smooth acceleration and precise manoeuvring around garden features, trees and borders — helping users achieve a professional-quality finish with minimal learning curve.
