Strategic move comes as demand for services continues to grow

14th January 2025, Gloucestershire: Law firm, WSP Solicitors has opened a new Gloucester office as the firm looks to cement its position as one of the leading legal service providers in the county. The move reflects growing local demand for its services including specialist areas such as out-of-court Family Law and Mediation, Child Law, Wills and Probate, and Corporate Law.

The firm, which has been present in the county for over 260 years, with a 65 strong team, has moved from London Road in Gloucester to the Elmbridge East Business Park renowned for its green and contemporary office space with excellent road links. The firm has a second office in Stroud and is now, with the additional space of the new office, setting its sights firmly on growth.

Recently the WSP team welcomed new team members including corporate solicitor, Nafeesa Hussain and private client solicitor, Christina Kenton as caseloads grew by 15%. Furthermore, it has invested in continuous development and training programmes for employees and launched its Separating Together, Family Mediation and Out-of-Court Family services, headed up by a Family Mediation expert and two “Resolution Together” specialists, to support couples committed to an amicable separation.

Judi Bonham, Managing Director at WSP Solicitors said: “Following an increase in demand for our legal services, we’re thrilled to announce our move to Elmbridge East as part of our ongoing growth strategy.

“As well as providing a modern workspace for our team, our new location is one that is accessible for all, with central transport links to and from the city, surrounding towns and villages, and from across the county. As a firm we are increasingly conscious of our environmental impact too, with its green credentials Elmbridge East provides a location that is fit for purpose now and the future. Furthermore, the new space provides plenty of room for the growth of the team and business, and will support our vision in positioning WSP Solicitors as a countywide provider of legal services.”

The firm has also embraced new technology as part of its ambitious plans, fully migrating to the cloud for the flexibility and scalability it needs to grow, while launching a bespoke, real-time app where conveyancing clients can view the progress of their case and digitally sign documents securely.

Judi added: “As a firm that is used to handling some of the most complex cases, we focus on providing approachable, uncomplicated, and trusted legal advice. To achieve this, it’s important that we continuously invest in both our people and business whilst treating clients and employees as valued individuals. Elmbridge East, with its modern and spacious facilities, provides the perfect environment in which our team can flourish and grow, and our clients receive the best service they deserve.”
