The original seed ball company, Seedball, has introduced two exciting new additions to its range, designed to make growing wildflowers simple, joyful and accessible to everyone. With over 97 percent of UK wildflower meadows lost in recent decades, creating even small pockets of habitat can make a meaningful difference. Seedball’s new launches provide a simple, attractive and effective way for households to support pollinators and other essential wildlife.
Designed to remove barriers to gardening, the new products encourage more people to take part in nature-friendly planting, whether they have a garden, a balcony or just a sunny windowsill!
All-in-One Wildflower Grow Kits

Seedball’s Wildflower Grow Kits make it simple to grow a cheerful wildflower pot - no matter how small your space is. Each vibrant tin planter contains everything needed to get started – just add water.
Available in two varieties – Chamomile and Forget-me-not – each kit includes a coir disc made from coconut husk, a peat-free, renewable byproduct of the coconut industry. The disc expands when hydrated, creating nutrient-rich compost for the seeds. Also included are three seed balls, containing approximately 90 seeds in total, which are placed on top of the hydrated coir. With consistent watering and a sunny spot, the seeds will grow into a lovely display of low-growing wildflowers. Chamomile and Forget-me-not are perfect for smaller pots, while still being rich in nectar to support bees, butterflies and other pollinators.
The tins feature beautifully eye-catching designs and are manufactured in London from Welsh-mined tinplate by the country’s last tin maker using solar power. A special varnish helps protect them if kept outdoors. Once the flowers have bloomed, the tins can be reused for indoor plants, herbs, succulents, or houseplants, or as stylish storage for pens, kitchen utensils or keepsakes. They are fully recyclable, making them a sustainable choice for gardeners and gift-givers alike.

Insects play a vital role in healthy ecosystems, from pollinating crops to supporting the wider web of life. Yet many of the wildflowers they rely on are disappearing from UK landscapes. The new Royal Entomological Society Wildflower Tin from Seedball has been carefully created to help change that.
Designed to support a broad range of insect life, including bees, beetles, butterflies and moths, this specially selected wildflower mix makes it easy to create a thriving habitat in gardens, balconies and window boxes.

Every seed ball holds approximately 30 native wildflower seeds from a carefully curated mix of: Red Campion, Evening Primrose, White Clover, Common Poppy, Wild Marjoram, and Field Scabious.
