Global digital transformation consultancy Kin + Carta has appointed Katie Franzen to its financial services practice as VP of business development, as part of an ongoing strategy to grow its financial services practice.

Franzen will report to Eric Rosenzweig, managing director of financial services at Kin + Carta. Her remit includes building out and growing the consultancy’s financial services portfolio and bringing her expertise to a strategic, targeted approach in this sector.

Franzen joins from Accenture, where she led the Microsoft business group and parts of the insurance portfolio. Her previous experience with some of the largest organizations in the world from both a financial services and technology perspective aligns perfectly with our ambitions for the region.

“What really excites me is Katie’s history of developing junior colleagues and being an outspoken advocate for marginalized groups. This is such a key part of our mission at Kin + Carta. She is going to be a pivotal from both an internal culture and client services perspective and we’re looking forward to welcoming her to the Kin + Carta family.”

Katie Franzen, VP of business development, financial services, Kin + Carta added: “Kin + Carta has an exceptional culture, with a strong growth mindset and an incredible focus on innovation with exceptional client experience and deep partnership alignment.
