Asian lifestyle brand phenomenon Gadhouse has released GadGo, an innovative app that allows music-lovers to ‘scan their vinyl’ and easily create a digital library of their collection as well as stream music around the home.

26th April 2023: Global audio and lifestyle brand Gadhouse has announced its latest innovation for record collectors and vinyl music fans – GadGo - an easy-to-use app with ‘scan your vinyl’ feature using the sleeve barcode on the album. The new app allows users to digitally catalogue their vinyl music collection, and future app releases will allow purchase of new records direct from Discogs with just a tap.

GadGo is compatible with the brand’s retro-cool audio range, which includes wireless speakers to turntables, and allows customers to effortlessly sync and manage their music library across Gadhouse devices in multiple rooms - perfect for jam-sessions or parties. The UI builds on Gadhouse’s music-art-culture vibe with a clean, simple to use interface and automatically uploads album artworks, name, and track listing information.

The app features easy product registering via AppleID, Google, or Facebook log-in, with the option to extend Gadhouse’s standard one-year warranty to two years in-app at no extra cost. GadGo also features a library manager to catalogue and organise a vinyl collection, with the option to share tracks with friends and family set for a future release. The GadGo app's built-in equalizer gives users the ability to fine-tune the sound of their favourite tracks, and direct links to Discogs makes finding new, used, and rare vinyl easy.

Bangkok-based Gadhouse, or ‘House of Gadgets’, designs audio products which centre on stylish living, music, creativity, and art. The brand combines the best of vintage audio design with modern technology and living.

Gadhouse has gained huge popularity across Asia and is set to shake up the traditional mass market UK audio scene with the release of several exciting products in 2023. The brand’s vision is to bring art, music, and vintage culture to the UK, partnering with indie brands and working on exclusive collaborations.

Gadhouse symbolises a vintage house with retro vibes, products packed full of features and modern technology, then finished with nostalgic and creative one-of-a-kind designs. Each product concept is based on a different human character, filling the ‘House of Gadgets’ with effortless style.

CEO Petch Teosuwan, 32, originates from Bangkok and has a background in production engineering, completing his MSc in Engineering Business Management at Coventry University.

A self-proclaimed ‘music nerd’, Petch’s passion for retro music led him to investigate classic and vintage sound systems.

He says: “When I was starting out, I did some research and found that retro sound systems like record players turned out to be very high-end and niche. There were very few options for good-looking record players that were affordable, so I decided to build a range of retro sound systems with Gadhouse.

“The name Gadhouse comes from the idea that we want to build a House of Gadgets. We envision a house that is analogue, yet timeless and futuristic in what it offers. A house that is iconic for its retro-cool image.

“Every product is given a name and backstory to bring it to life. We aim to provide not just a sound system but almost a companion to our customers, a friend to chill with, or a fellow ‘music geek’ buddy who lives under the same roof.”

GadGo is the ultimate analogue-meets-digital interface, and future releases will allow app users to join Gadhouse’s thriving community of music enthusiasts and engage in discussions, share tips and tricks, and make new friends through the power of music.

The GadGo app is available for download on IOS here and Android here.
