Fyne Audio Celebrates the Global Launch of its Accessible F500S Series Loudspeakers at Munich High End 2025

Munich, Germany, May 15, High End Expo: Scotland’s Fyne Audio is proud to announce the worldwide launch of its new F500S Series of loudspeakers, marking a significant audio and aesthetic upgrade over the critically acclaimed F500 Series – all without an increase in price. Previewed at the UK’s Bristol Hi-Fi Show in February, the F500S Series offers exceptional value and marks a further step in the company’s commitment to IsoFlare™ point source driver technology. The new design upgrades the original F500 Series’ electronics, BassTrax porting system and finish options to offer further sonic refinement.

The F500S Series features five models to suit diverse listening needs: the 5 inch (125mm) IsoFlare bookshelf F5S, the F500S; a 6 inch (150mm) IsoFlare standmounted loudspeaker; the F501S, a 2 x 6 inch floorstanding loudspeaker; the F502S a potent 2 x 8 inch (200mm) floorstanding loudspeaker. This line-up also includes the F500S LCR, featuring 2 x 6 inch drivers plus a 6 inch Auxiliary Bass Radiator (ABR) for horizontal, vertical or wall mounted use.

Building on the impressive legacy of the original F500 Series as Fyne’s best-selling loudspeaker to date, the F500S range incorporates cutting-edge advancements to deliver exceptional stereo imaging, natural midrange, and smooth, extended treble. The IsoFlare™ driver technology, updated for the new F500S Series, ensures isotropic energy radiation with point source constant directivity for an immersive and lifelike soundstage.

IsoFlare Everywhere

Fyne Audio’s IsoFlare™ drivers seamlessly integrate the tweeter and woofer into a single point source. This innovative approach includes a neodymium HF magnet with a vented rear chamber to minimise resonance and a 25mm (19mm on the F5S) magnesium HF diaphragm with self-damping properties pushing breakup modes beyond 30kHz. Each HF waveguide has a computer optimised expansion pattern and unique geometry to provide flat frequency response and avoid internal reflections. Crucially, the new waveguides improve dispersion over the previous generation F500 for further enhanced stereo imaging and better off-axis performance – attributes already pivotal to the original F500 Series success.

The LF section offers a multifibre cone, chosen for its natural sound and predictable characteristics, terminated with FyneFlute™ roll surround technology to deliver a clean transient response. Building on the patented BassTrax™ Tractrix Diffuser System, which has proven a perfect partner to the point source driver, the F500S delivers bass with uniform energy distribution, reducing each speaker's sensitivity to room positioning.

Combining Fyne’s technical expertise with aesthetic refinements rarely seen on speakers at this price. The high rigidity MDF cabinets are offered in high quality real wood veneers or piano grade gloss paint and finished with premium details, including robust, bi-wire speaker binding posts, stabilising plinths and magnetic rear grille storage on the floorstanding models. The F500S LCR forgoes BassTrax in favour of a motor-damped ABR LF tuning and is supplied with wall brackets.
