Acclaimed as the UK’s best fun mud runs and obstacle races, another group of nine philanthropic fools took on the challenge of X-Runner at Nottingham’s Holme Pierrepont Country Park. This time we raised over £500 for Rumbletums Café - a community café and a supported training project for young people with a learning disability.
Emily Kay, HR Business Partner, is one of the driving forces encouraging colleagues to join in fund raising activities. She says: “We have raised a great deal of money over the year and would like to thank everyone who has supported us. These events offer a lot more than just raising money - they’re a great way of socialising outside work and create a strong common bond that translates into our time at work.”
