Vestel UK Hosts First Ever Partner Event and Awards

A select group of Vestel Visual Solutions’ resellers and integrators from across the UK gathered at Reading Football Stadium for the brand’s first-ever UK partner awards event.

Wednesday 31st May 2023: Marking a milestone in the continued growth of Vestel Visual Solutions across the UK display, digital signage and interactive screen markets, the brand launched its first UK reseller awards at a prestigious event in Berkshire. Hosted at the Madejski Stadium, home of Reading FC where Vestel is the Official Visual Solutions Partner, the night celebrated the achievements and success of Vestel resellers and integrators over the last year.

On the day, Vestel had a range of products on display and delivered presentations outlining ambitious growth goals, range invigoration, and discussions on how Vestel will continue to support resellers and empower their growth. Partners were given an overview of Vestel globally and a preview of some of the exciting new market sectors for Vestel UK integrators and resellers – including the brand’s recently launched range of Vestel Electric Vehicle Chargers for home and business.

Guests were treated to a three-course meal, and entertainment in the form of comedian Mark Watson and a casino games evening. Vestel was delighted to be joined by Louise Brown and Melanie Kingham from Tiggywinkles Wildlife Hospital, which Vestel UK proudly supports.

The ceremony presented awards to a select number of Vestel’s hard-working resellers and integrators. From Best Newcomer and Best Projects across education, commercial and retail, to Brand Ambassador, Reseller of The Year and Lifetime Achievement, a dozen brands emerged as inaugural Vestel Award winners. 

Commenting on the awards, Vestel UK’s Managing Director, Matthew Lang said: "We are so excited to honour our hardworking and dedicated resellers by hosting the first ever Vestel Partner Event and Awards. It was a chance for Vestel UK to thank our loyal customers with the event and dinner and celebrate some exceptional businesses and projects over the last year, all using Vestel products.”

The Best Newcomer award went to Officeflow, Best Education Project went to CCS Media and Best Commercial Project went to Leisure Installations and Service. 

The best retail project award went to Saturn Visual Solutions, the Player’s Player award for going above and beyond went to Shaun Myers (BT), Social Influencer went to One Digital Signage and Fastest Growth also went to BT. The Punching Above Their Weight award went to Compugrafix and Brand Ambassador went to Gerry McDonnell (Interactive Displays Ireland) for his extensive support and promotion of Vestel.

Of the two ‘hero’ awards of the evening, the Lifetime Achievement award went to CC Communications, and the Reseller of the Year award went to Comcen Computer Supplies.

Concluded Matthew Lang after the event, “Our first ever reseller awards event was a great success and furthered strengthened our relationships with our partners across the visual solutions sector. With plans for the Vestel Awards 2024 next year already underway, we look forward to continuing these successful partnerships to ensure our joint success into the future.”
