Graco turned to its 18,800 social media followers to gain insights into what parents worry about when travelling with baby for the first time. The majority of respondents had waited till their child was aged over three months before they headed away from home overnight and three-quarters of Graco parents opted to take their own equipment away with them. 55% told us they took their own equipment for a ‘home away from home’ experience for their little one. And 79% of the parents we spoke to did not prepare their baby for holiday changes while away from home, with the 65% opting for ‘holiday rules’ and not trying to keep little one in a routine.

We also asked parents about their experience when baby started moving independently. 77% of respondents were surprised at the danger their little one could quickly get into at home, with many wishing they could develop eyes in the back of their head! With raised concerns over their child’s safety, over 60% of our respondents opted to use a playpen when at home and away to keep baby safe, especially when taking bathroom breaks!
