  • SECUTIX joins EPCR family as exclusive ticketing technology partner
  • Improved ticketing experience for fans as EPCR brings ticketing function in-house for first time
  • Ticketing platform will open for launch of Bilbao 2026 ticket sales in the coming weeks

European Professional Club Rugby (EPCR), organiser of rugby union’s elite club tournaments, the Investec Champions Cup and EPCR Challenge Cup, has appointed SECUTIX as its exclusive ticketing technology partner.

The agreement marks EPCR’s first use of a white-label ticketing solution for all its competitions. EPCR will now directly control its ticketing operations, moving away from third-party systems to an in-house mobile-first approach.

EPCR will use several SECUTIX solutions, including S-360, a SaaS-based ticketing platform, S-Mobile, its secure digital ticketing app and S-Pay for integrated payment solutions, which will support fan ticketing for EPCR’s owned matches – the Investec Champions Cup semi-finals and both Finals.

Fans will benefit from a modern, intuitive, and mobile-friendly ticketing experience, along with stronger ticket security. For EPCR, the switch to SECUTIX means vastly improved user experience and customer journey, real-time oversight, flexibility, and full ownership of their platform and customer data.

Jochen Opp, SECUTIX’s Associate Vice President of Sales, said: “We are excited to work with EPCR and apply the latest in ticketing technology and audience engagement to both their business and the rugby fan experience.”
Jacques Raynaud, CEO of EPCR, added: “As part of our commitment to increased digitalisation and enhanced fan experience, we wanted to move away from external ticketing platforms for the key matches of our season and create an owned, centralised operation for ticketing, data, and fan engagement. With SECUTIX’s expertise in major sporting events, we have the confidence and technology we need to manage our Investec Champions Cup semi-final and EPCR Finals ticketing fully in-house. It is a big step forward for EPCR.”

EPCR sells between 100,000 and 200,000 tickets each year across the Investec Champions Cup semi-finals and EPCR Finals weekends and, with the support of SECUTIX, is projected to sell even more as part of its strategic development plan. Ticket sales for the 2026 Investec Champions Cup Final and EPCR Challenge Cup Final in Bilbao, using the SECUTIX solutions, are set to launch in the coming weeks.
