Vestel Visual Solutions leads the way in eco displays and
interactive screen technology at ISE 2024.
Friday 2nd February: Display giant, Vestel Visual Solutions, illuminated the Integrated Systems Europe show (ISE) 2024 with ground-breaking advancements in eco display and interactive display screen technologies, realised in exciting new product ranges for 2024. The international AV trade show, held in Barcelona from January 30th to February 2nd this year, marked a significant milestone for Vestel as it showcased its latest product innovations across display, signage, and interactive education.
At the heart of Vestel's ISE 2024 exhibit was the unveiling of its Eco Display category, underscoring the company's commitment to sustainability in lowering the power consumption of digital displays and signage. The new technology will feature across a number of UHD displays launching into the UK market by Vestel Visual Solutions UK in 2024, reducing the power of a typical 500-nits commercial display by up to 80%.
Commented Vestel Visual Solutions UK Senior Product Manager, Tim Matthews, “Vestel’s Eco-Efficient display line-up for 2024 is set to revolutionise the commercial display and signage industry with massive power consumption savings. By reducing power consumption by 80-to-100 Watts depending on screen size over a typical 500-nit display each screen can save up to £400 annually (24/7 @ £0.46/kwh). That is a substantial saving for venues with multiple displays and can make a significant contribution towards customers achieving their sustainability, carbon, and energy consumption targets,” added Tim.
Leading the way in making digital education more accessible for all, Vestel unveiled a series of new interactive screens for the UK market at ISE. Featuring a Google EDLA approved Android 13 SoC core, the new models will offer the latest zero-bonded screen construction. This display technology dramatically improves touch-screen accuracy, while simultaneously reducing power consumption and improving both visual quality and durability. Vestel’s economies of manufacturing scale at its 1.3m sqm European manufacturing facility brings this cutting-edge technology to value-priced interactive displays for the first time, backed by the brand’s enviable reputation for reliability and longevity.
“In our zero-bonded displays, the layers of the screen, including the LCD panel, touch-sensitive layer, and protective glass, are bonded together without any air gaps,” adds Tim. “The elimination of the air gap significantly improves touch sensitivity and accuracy by minimizing parallax errors, seals out potential contaminates such as dust, and leads to a slimmer, sleeker overall design. We have worked very hard on our 2024 IFPD range to ensure the class-leading benefits of zero-bonded interactive technology are now affordable for all parts of the UK education sector.”
The ISE 2024 exhibition also provided a platform for Vestel to showcase successful collaborations with global industry leaders in display content management including Embed, Octopus, Telelogos and PLAYipp.
Vestel’s commitment to innovation and excellence was further highlighted in other areas of the giant 240sqm exhibition space. The brand showcased its impactful large screen displays up to 98in in landscape and portrait, a Dolby Atmos cinema set-up with large-screen UHD LED video wall and interactive retail display solutions featuring partner Octopus’ augmented reality real-time product information. New low-haze screens will add to the breadth of Vestel Visual Solutions UK's display portfolio in 2024, alongside new hospitality displays and hotel TV specific models.
