TVC serves up AV upgrade for Carrs Pasties in Bury, as new store marks first step outside of its Bolton home town for the family bakery brand.

Bolton, UK, 6th May - TVC Technology Solutions has delivered a tailored audiovisual solution for Carrs Pasties at its new Bury retail premises, supporting the family run bakery’s first expansion beyond its Bolton roots. The installation demonstrates how digital signage and high-brightness displays can enhance customer experience, boost high street visibility for compact retail environments and driving footfall.

Established in 1938, Carrs Pasties has grown from a single Bolton shop into a well-loved regional brand, with three generations refining its traditional baking heritage. The new Bury store represents a key milestone in the company’s expansion, building on the success of its existing locations and established reputation for quality and consistency.

Having previously supported refurbishment projects at Carrs’ flagship Bolton and Middlebrook sites, TVC was appointed to deliver a similar AV setup for the new store, while introducing enhanced window displays to strengthen street presence and attract passing footfall.

To maximise visibility from the high street, TVC installed two 43” double sided hanging window displays, designed to engage audiences both outside and inside the store. The screens ensure promotional content reaches passersby regardless of internal foot traffic flow, while also reinforcing messaging and offers for customers already in-store. High-brightness panels allow content to remain clear and vibrant even in direct daylight, making them well suited to window facing environments.

With space at the compact retail setting limited, TVC used integrated ceiling mounts to eliminate the need for floor standing units or visible cabling. Designed for continuous commercial use, the screens provide a reliable platform for showcasing daily offers and core product lines throughout trading hours.

Inside the store, two 43” Samsung hospitality displays were installed behind the counter to create a clean, modern digital menu system. These commercial grade screens deliver consistent image quality and performance over extended operating hours, while their placement ensures menus are clearly visible to customers. Each display is mounted using low-profile Peerless wall brackets, maintaining a tidy and professional finish.

Commented Andy Greaves Sales Director, TVC Technology Solutions “This project is a great example of how well-designed AV can elevate even the most compact retail environments. We’ve maximised window visibility with double-sided displays, kept the install clean with ceiling mounts, and delivered a robust digital signage platform that’s easy for the team to manage day to day. The high-brightness screens ensure the freshly baked messaging never gets lost, helping Carrs Pasties stand out on a busy high street.”

The entire system is powered by the MySign digital signage platform, supported by dedicated media players across all screens. This allows the Carrs Pasties team to update content quickly and centrally, whether promoting daily specials, new product launches or seasonal offers. The result is a flexible and easy-to-manage solution that keeps messaging current while supporting sales and customer engagement.

The completed installation provides Carrs Pasties with a cohesive digital environment that enhances both internal communication and external visibility, helping the brand make a strong impression in its first location outside of Bolton.
