20th February, Oxfordshire: Immigration law firm, Migrate UK is gearing up ahead of the government’s imminent White Paper setting out its new skills-based immigration system and appointed Oliver O’Sullivan to a new role as Director of Immigration.

Comments Jonathan Beech, Managing Director, Migrate UK: “With a constant whirlwind of immigration law changes and more to come with the government’s signalled ambition to reduce legal migration, Oliver’s in-depth experience as a Head of Immigration will shore up the team to meet the challenges and complexities of the revised system. Clients are increasingly seeking our support as compliance and sponsorship become ever more complex and it's great to welcome him to the team.”

Adds Oliver O’Sullivan: “I’m very pleased to be joining the team at Migrate UK as Director of Immigration ahead of the new white paper on immigration which will likely focus more on the relationship between visa sponsorship and training, as well as bringing a whole new raft of challenges for employers still struggling to meet recruitment demands.

“Immigration cases are becoming increasingly complex and tough for organisations and individuals, but the team will continue to try and make the process as simple as possible by introducing new products and services, while meeting the highest bar of compliance. I’m looking forward to growing and developing my career as Migrate UK continues to expand.”
