The Republic Bank Caribbean Premier League (CPL) has signed a multi-year contract with SECUTIX, a global leader in technology for the ticketing industry, to manage all their events and tournaments.
The agreement with SECUTIX includes its white-label ticketing solutions, S-360, SECUTIX’s SaaS-based ticketing platform, and S-Mobile, its digital ticketing app, to manage the League’s dynamic needs across multiple stadiums, multiple tournaments, and multiple currencies. S-Mobile will feature games as well as tournaments, including the Global Super League in Guyana, to provide a secure, digital fan experience.
“Our expertise in managing diverse ticketing needs - from simple team ticketing to complex tournaments, makes us an ideal partner for this growing sport,” said Michael McDermott, SECUTIX General Manager of the Americas.
According to McDermott, SECUTIX played a pivotal role in helping Cricket West Indies and CPL manage and grow its ticketing infrastructure, enabling the delivery of the inaugural International Cricket Council’s (ICC) World Cup event held in the West Indies and the United States. This partnership has contributed significantly to the expansion of cricket in the region, with the T20 World Cup serving as a hallmark event that showcased the sport's growing popularity and ease of managing tournaments and matches without large operational teams.
The contract provides CPL the ability to control the ticketing lifecycle while using historical data and insights to price and package tickets for a growing demand from fans.
“SECUTIX’s platform allows our team to easily manage the ticketing delivery for all CPL events, which increases overall event revenue while allowing us to keep full control of our brand and fan experience,” said Pete Russell, Caribbean Premier League CEO. “The mobile app ensures secure ticketing and ease of entry for all attendees, as well as the capability to communicate in real-time with fans.”
