Independent wallpaper designer Fiona Howard has unveiled a brand-new design exuding freshness and light as the new year approaches. 

Introducing Zephyr.

Abstract and whimsical, Zephyr features a meandering spotty design to bring walls to life.

Available in five striking colourways, Zephyr is a fantastic way of injecting interest into any space, without overwhelming the room.

Fiona Howard, Founder of her eponymous design house, said: “Zephyr was inspired by the gentle summer breeze. I wanted to capture that ethereal feeling of weightlessness and tranquillity. The soft, flowing lines and delicate spots evoke the image of a dreamy, faraway place.

“It's a modern, pared-back take on maximalism, perfect for contemporary interiors.”

With its small-scale print, Zephyr has been designed to be used across all walls to give a sense of continuity. It can even be used on ceilings to create a cosy atmosphere.

Fiona added: “I was inspired to create a new collection that would bring colour and pattern to walls but could also be used creatively with my existing designs to change the look and feel of the overall aesthetic.

“The design also shines when used alone thanks to its understated textural design.”

What’s more, each colourway has also been designed to twin with existing Fiona Howard wallpapers and borders.

Fiona added: “They have all been designed to complement wallpapers and some borders within my collection. This way the walls, or a 'hero wall' could be papered in the main print, and Zephyr on the ceiling or other accents such as inside cupboards or shelves. It's a way of using more pattern without it being overwhelming.”

Zephyr is available now in Canary, Coral, Cloud, Apple and Sea Blue, from Fiona Howard Wallpapers. It is priced at £144 per roll.
