13th June 2023 - Calling all kids and big kids at heart: get ready for a weekend of non-stop fun as KidsFest and AdventureFest returns to cinch presents CarFest 2023. With tickets starting at just £19 for a child, the whole family can enjoy a weekend of non-stop fun with incredible experiences for children big and small. Taking place from August 25th to 27th at Laverstoke Park Farm, Hampshire, these events offer non-stop entertainment, games, and activities for visitors of all ages.
Fun for all ages, KidsFest is celebrating all the best bits of being a kid. Pudsey’s Spot stage is the must-see stage for children and families. The stage is home to some of the biggest names from CBBC and CBeebies and will be filled with music, dancing, and games. Pudsey’s Spot will also host special appearances from Bedtime Stories, Basil Brush, Horrible Histories, Andy & The Odd Socks, and Yolanda's Band Jam! Plus you won’t want to miss visits from Hey Duggee, Bing & Flop, Bluey & Bingo, Octonauts, Postman Pat® and Teletubbies.
We are delighted to be welcoming Young Driver back to CarFest as our under-17s driving partner. Their team of specially trained driving instructors will be providing taster lessons for 10 to 17 year olds throughout the entire weekend. One of CarFest’s most popular slots, kids are amazed by the chance to experience first-hand how to drive a car, fuelling their love of all things petrol!
Kids and parents can also enjoy various sports activities such as football, rugby, athletics and cricket at The SportZone or some quiet time at the Art Club where kids can get creative and make souvenirs and gifts to take home as their very own special memory of CarFest. With plenty to keep little ones entertained and relaxing spaces for parents, KidsFest is a must.
Thrill-seekers can discover talents and skills while enjoying the great outdoors at AdventureFest. This year will see the return of BugFest with the new addition of Tarantula Island, where you can get up close and personal with a whole host of creepy-crawlies (if you dare!). CarFesters can also experience all the thrills of Outback 2 Basics, and Scout Camp Live!
The Discovery Hub gives kids and adults the chance to meet fascinating explorers, hear about their incredible adventures and learn essential life skills through workshops and fascinating talks around the great outdoors. Get ready to be captivated, inspired, and forever transformed by our experts as they share their best tips to be fully equipped for the big wild world.
Kids can also experience the Stone Age first-hand, learning the skills and crafts of our ancestors with Outback 2 Basics. You won’t be able to drag them away!
Celebrating 10 years of incredible support from the Scouts, Scout Camp Live once again gives festival goers the chance to enjoy all things outdoors from archery, donkey derby to learning about knots, rope making and rock climbing. Whether you just want to take part in the activities, are an existing Scout who wants to join our team of volunteers or find out about joining the Scouts, then this is the festival for you. Our Scout volunteers gain essential life skills associated with working in teams in areas of responsibility and leave with a great sense of pride.
Scout Ambassador Chris Evans said, “The support of the Scouts at CarFest has been incredible over the years and we can’t wait to celebrate 10 years with them. What an amazing party we will have this year with our brilliant festival lineup. Being a Scout Ambassador brings me much joy and I love everything they stand for.”
Excitingly, once again this year, those working towards their DofE Gold Award and Kings Scout Award can do so at CarFest. For the past seven years, the Scouts have run a Residential programme at the festival which allows people to complete one of the essential sections and work towards receiving their KSA and DofE Gold award.
Following the momentous success of last year, cinch presents CarFest 2023 will again host a whopping seven magical festivals in one: AdventureFest, FoodFest, KidsFest, RetroFest, StarFest, SpaFest and of course, CarFest. With enough activities and attractions to keep the whole family entertained, it’s the perfect way to spend the Bank Holiday weekend.
The brainchild of radio presenter Chris Evans, CarFest will be entering its 12th year this August, and it promises to be the best yet. With enough activities and attractions to keep the whole family entertained, it’s the perfect way to spend the Bank Holiday weekend.
