Barbary & Oak makes European debut at Maison & Objet Paris

Show-stopping Barbary & Oak collections will be showcased at Maison & Objet Paris between 8-12 September. The show is one of Europe’s largest launchpads for the latest innovations in home and interior products. Barbary & Oak makes its international debut at the show this year, introducing the latest trends across tableware, cookware and serveware at Hall 3, Stand F126.

Founded by the housewares experts at RKW, the brand is backed by 30-plus years of product development, manufacturing and distribution experience. The Barbary & Oak team researches up-and-coming design trends from all around the world to produce authentic designs that capture the diverse beauty of nature, culture and entertaining.

Barbary & Oak’s stand at Maison & Objet will host exclusive designs and colourways based around key interior trends for 2023. Products are infused with biophilic design, using elements from nature to promote positive wellbeing and carefully curated to help the consumer cook and serve up in style.

Foundry

Celebrate the art of cooking and entertaining with these stylish, practical oven to tableware products, coordinating cast iron cookware and dinnerware sets. Camembert is a new addition to the collection, introducing soothing qualities and subtle sophistication as more consumers search for simple and understated styles for interior settings.

Foundry style options are designed suit every taste, from bold Bordeaux Red and Limoges Blue to restorative natural colours with the new Camembert and Verdigris Green colourways. As the table becomes the centre of attention in 2023, consumers are looking for ways to create design-lead tablescapes that are the centre of conversation with friends and family.

Relic

The home has become a safe space for cocooning and escaping the cult of busy. Hunker down for the winter and enjoy your morning hit of caffeine or afternoon tea break with these unique Relic mugs. Their primitive aesthetic – raw and brutalist – evokes strength and longevity as consumers look for quality items that bring character and intrigue to the everyday.

Organic, earthy tones celebrate the beauty of the world around us, using elements from our natural surroundings that have reassuring, restorative qualities in the home. Verona

Verona combines a neutral colour palette with natural terracotta to add a rustic touch to the tableware collection. Including 16pc dinnerware sets and pasta bowls, each piece features exposed terracotta that is both practical and stylish – offering a slight variance in colour for individuality.

Terracotta is a strong, sustainable material for tableware designs. With the importance on climate impact continuing into 2023, products made from natural materials will remain at the forefront of the consumer’s mind.

Hoxton & Chevron

Designed to excite and inspire, the new Hoxton and Chevron collections are premium vintage ash wood and acacia wood pieces for the home. The Hoxton range comprises of utensils, chopping boards, salt & pepper mills and a stylish knife block, made from lightweight ash wood that has been stained to elevate the natural beauty of the grain. Brushed stainless steel accents add a simple touch of luxury for a functional, rustic home aesthetic.

Chevron acacia wood chopping boards utilise off-cuts and waste wood, repurposing materials into stylish statement pieces for the home. The patterns are created as surplus cuts of acacia are skilfully pieced together, giving them natural colour variations, interesting textures and rich patchwork to make each piece feel unique. Acacia is also a hardwood that is durable, water-resistant and naturally antibacterial, making it perfect for food preparation and presentation boards.
