Following the launch of its freestanding point-of-sale display earlier this year, the original seed ball company, Seedball, is spotlighting the full retail offering behind the unit. The move gives stockists a clearer picture of the commercial opportunity, product mix and flexible ordering options available.
Designed to help retailers maximise sales within a compact footprint, the Standing Display Unit provides a ready-to-merchandise solution that combines strong visual impact with a carefully curated product range.
Measuring 270cm high by 60cm wide and 40cm deep, the unit has been created to deliver a high-density display without taking up valuable shop floor space - making it well suited to garden centres, gift shops and lifestyle retailers. Its bright, eye-catching design helps draw customers in from across the retail space, increasing visibility and encouraging interaction.
Retailers can choose from two pre-filled display options, each priced at £600 (excluding VAT), with a total retail value of up to £1,512 - offering strong margin potential from the outset.
Both options have been designed to offer a balanced mix of Seedball’s bestselling formats, encouraging both gifting and repeat purchases.
Option A (RRP £1,512 total retail value) includes:
· A mix of 42 wildflower tubes featuring popular varieties such as poppy, cornflower and forget-me-not
· 21 herb tubes including mint, basil and parsley
· 20 hanging packs and 10 grab bags designed for easy add-on purchases
· 50 classic seed tins spanning pollinator, wildlife and meadow mixes
· A selection of giftable items including Make Your Own Kits, Meadow Pots and Grow Kit Pots
Option B (RRP £1,465 total retail value) offers a more gifting-led and impulse-friendly mix, including:
· 63 wildflower tubes with a strong focus on core varieties
· 40 hanging packs and 15 grab bags designed to drive multi-buy purchases
· 12 scatter boxes designed for larger-scale planting projects
· The same range of giftable kits and pots to broaden appeal
Each option has been curated to provide a clear and engaging entry point into the Seedball range, while also encouraging customers to trade up across different product formats.
Flexible ordering and easy top-ups
To support ongoing sales, Seedball has built flexibility into the offer. The Standing Display Unit is available as part of orders over £600, with retailers then able to top up stock from just £120 with free shipping, which is lower than the standard free delivery threshold.
This allows stockists to keep displays looking full and fresh without committing to large repeat orders, while maintaining strong availability across bestselling lines.
Designed for simplicity in-store
The unit is supplied ready to merchandise, making it quick and easy to install on the shop floor. Its clear layout helps customers navigate the range with ease, whether they’re looking for a small gift, a simple gardening solution or a way to support pollinators.
Seedball’s products are designed to make growing wildflowers accessible to everyone. Each seed ball contains a mix of wildflower seeds encased in clay and peat-free compost, allowing customers to simply scatter them in gardens, pots or balconies.
By combining ease of use with strong sustainability credentials, the display taps into growing consumer demand for eco-friendly gardening products that deliver visible results.
The Standing Display Unit is available now via the Seedball trade shop.
