ULTRAFABRICS recognized as Steelcase 2024 Carbon Reduction Leader

New York, June 2024 - Ultrafabrics is proud to announce it has been recognized as a Carbon Reduction Leader by global furniture brand Steelcase for committing to science-based emissions reductions.
Steelcase, a global design and thought leader in the world of work furniture, set emission reduction targets in 2020 which included a commitment to engage 80% of its suppliers to set their own targets by 2025. This commitment recognizes the importance of collective action in addressing climate change.
“Steelcase has long been a leader in sustainability,” said Derek Ludwig, Steelcase Vice President and Chief Procurement Officer. “We were the first in our industry to set ambitious targets and to become carbon neutral in our operations. Because we know that addressing climate change requires collective action, we count our suppliers among our most important partners. Ultrafabrics has joined Steelcase in this work by committing to science-based emissions reductions, and so it is pleased to recognize the company as a 2024 Carbon Reduction Leader.
