Bolton, September 2026: British TV brand Mitchell & Brown is expanding its Smart TV range with the launch of the JB-32R1811, its first-ever television powered by the popular Roku TV operating system. The compact 32in HD Ready model brings Roku’s intuitive Smart TV experience to the Mitchell & Brown range for the first time.

Designed to give retailers a highly accessible Smart TV proposition at one of the market’s most versatile screen sizes, the new model combines Roku’s simple, content-focused user experience with comprehensive connectivity, traditional broadcast reception and Mitchell & Brown’s class-leading seven-year warranty.

At the heart of the JB-32R1811 is Roku OS, a television operating system designed from the ground up to make streaming straightforward. Its clean home screen brings apps, live TV, connected devices and other entertainment together in an intuitive interface, helping customers spend less time navigating menus and more time watching.

Popular streaming services including Netflix, Disney+, Prime Video, Apple TV, NOW, BBC iPlayer, ITVX and Channel 4 are readily accessible, alongside a wealth of free entertainment through The Roku Channel and other services.

Roku Search adds another valuable benefit, allowing viewers to search for entertainment across participating streaming services rather than having to open individual apps to find a particular programme or film. Automatic software updates also help keep the platform current with new features and services over time.

The JB-32R1811 remains equally well equipped for conventional television viewing, with DVB-T/T2 and DVB-S reception, while three HDMI inputs provide ample connectivity for games consoles, set-top boxes and other AV devices. USB multimedia playback, optical digital audio output and a headphone socket complete the connectivity package.

Its 32in HD Ready LED panel offers 1366 x 768 resolution, complemented by twin 8W speakers to enhance the clarity of dialogue.

As with Mitchell & Brown's premium TV range, the JB-32R1811 is supported by the company's comprehensive seven-year warranty, providing retailers with a powerful additional sales benefit and customers with long-term reassurance.
