Webbs Brings a UK First to Worcestershire: Fresh Nemaslug® Now In-Store for Gardeners

From June 13th, local gardeners will be able to get their hands on Nemaslug® - the leading slug control product made from naturally occurring beneficial nematodes - directly from Webbs Garden Centre in Wychbold.

This marks the first time ever that fresh nematodes will be available to buy in a garden centre, making it a landmark moment for both Webbs and eco-conscious gardeners across the region.

Previously only available online and delivered by post, Nemaslug® is now hitting store fridges thanks to an exciting new partnership between Webbs and biological control experts Gardening Naturally. The move gives West Midlands gardeners easier access than ever to a powerful, planet-friendly alternative to traditional slug pellets. Containing live nematodes (microscopic roundworms), Nemaslug® is a powerful natural solution that protects gardens from damaging slug populations.

Until now, the need to refrigerate the product prior to use has presented challenges for garden centres. However, Gardening Naturally has supplied bespoke refrigeration units to Webbs Wychbold, ensuring the live organisms remain viable and ready to use.
