July 2025 - October has a special meaning for Lea, the owner of family-owned hotel, Sensoria Dolomites in South Tyrol. As the month where she began a new stage of her life in South Tyrol reimagining the house to what it is today, October represents a new beginning full of energy. Each year, Lea feels this anew and in 2025, the hotel’s creative new venture, Sensoria Art Edition 01, is a tribute to that very feeling.

Located at the foot of the Alpe di Siusi, the largest high plateau in Europe, the adults-only wellness hotel is surrounded by spectacular views of the UNESCO World Heritage Dolomites. Just a stone’s throw away from the cable car, guests can explore with a hike before relaxing in the spruce spa with a backdrop of mountain peaks. With an indulgent take on all-inclusive dining, guests can enjoy a six-course gourmet menu every evening.

SENSORIA ART EDITION, 19th October - 23rd October 2025

The Sensoria Art Edition 01 is a curated 5-day immersive experience taking place in partnership with acclaimed South Tyrolean artists, Aron Demetz and Peter Senoner. The package features meet & greets with the artists, paired with aperitifs at the house, exclusive studio visits and an art dinner, guaranteed to leave guests feeling enriched and inspired - regardless of their prior knowledge or experience in the field.

Programme highlights include:

  • Meet & Greet + Aperitif
  • An intimate welcome with artists Aron Demetz and Peter Senoner, designed to spark connection and creative conversation in a relaxed, social setting
  • Studio Visit: Aron Demetz
  • Guests enjoy an exclusive visit to the studio of renowned sculptor Aron Demetz, whose work with wood and fire explores vulnerability, transformation, and human presence. The experience includes a hands-on workshop and authentic encounters with the artist in his scenic studio in the mountains, providing a direct insight into his creative processes
  • Artistic Drawing Experience: Peter Senoner
  • Guided by Peter Senoner, this intuitive drawing session encourages guests to respond to nature, emotion, and inner impulse. Through spontaneous mark-making and mindful attention, guests will create a unique work of art that reflects their individual voice

An optional helicopter flight to the LUMEN Museum of Mountain Photography offers an unparalleled way to experience art and alpine landscapes, accompanied by a personal guide. Bookable on request.

  • The Art Dinner
  • A memorable evening to conclude the trip where art, cuisine, and conversation intertwine, uniting artists and guests around the table. The dinner underscores Sensoria’s commitment to proving art can be enjoyed by everyone through shared experience

In contemporary sculpture, Aron Demetz and Peter Senoner offer two complementary perspectives on the human figure and its transformations in the space where nature, technology and identity intersect. Both artists, whose work is rooted in the sculptural tradition of South Tyrol, consciously transcend the boundaries of classical craftsmanship.

If you are not attending the curated programme, throughout October guests can book exclusive experiences at the artists’ studios and visit local exhibitions accompanied by the artists, with the option of travelling in style with a helicopter ride to the LUMEN Museum for Mountain Photography. Evenings at the hotel will also feature live music surrounded by art displays.
