As a nation, Brits are becoming increasingly conscious of their carbon footprint and more aware than ever of where their food comes from. In fact, research from a popular UK garden centre found that almost three-quarters of the nation opted to grow their own produce in 2023, with numbers expected to be higher for the year ahead.

The green basics growgarden is the ideal space-saving solution! Its compact but surprisingly spacious size of 60x80cm means that even those with small gardens or balconies can get involved and start their grow-your-own adventure. The growgarden features adjustable compartments, ideal for dividing “cut and come again” salad leaves, fiery chillies or even flavoursome herbs. These dedicated spaces not only protect the roots and give them breathing room, but it also helps to keep your mini grow garden organised. The dividers are easily adjustable and can be moved to create two, three, four or six compartments.

To complement the growgarden, elho has introduced a transparent detachable lid that fits snuggly on top to create a mini greenhouse environment. This maintains a steady internal temperature and keeps soil moist, while protecting crops from damage caused by the weather and wildlife.

It also features a large window that opens to make caring for and watering plants easy, as well as allowing fresh air to circulate - vital when hardening off seedlings and tender crops.
