It’s the people, stupid! Cream HR launch new podcast

If you have an interest in Human Resources and want a podcast that really explores what that entails and how to get the best from your people, then this new podcast could be right up your street.

Cream HR offer HR solutions to SME’s that recognise their people are their most important investment. To support this they have launched a new podcast, It’s the people, stupid! aimed at anyone who manages people. The host of the podcast, and director of Cream HR, Anthony Sutton, speaks to a range of experts and professionals each time to consider a new topic. Subjects so far have included getting active at work, succeeding in hybrid working and the importance of kindness at work.

The most recent episode, Of Mice and Mental Health, features Dr Anna Hooper, a clinical psychologist with the NHS. Anthony and Dr Hooper discuss strategies for recognising poor mental health and consider approaches for supporting employees who may be struggling.

Host Anthony Sutton says, “I decided to launch the podcast as I wanted to create something that considers the importance of people in any business. The aim is to consider new topics that don’t receive as much coverage but are still critically important, such as the importance of physical health, as well as considering different slants on more commonplace topics like why leadership can feel like a lonely place. The range of topics and guests have been chosen to represent all areas of HR and acknowledge that is far more to people management than simply hiring and firing. Because at the end of the day, what is the lifeblood of any organisation – it’s the people, stupid!”
