Biography - Chef Danielle Maupertuis
Belgium born Chef Danielle Maupertuis is the UK’s leading Executive Vegan Pastry Chef as well as an author, presenter and trainer at The Vegetarian Society.
Chef Danielle has over 40 years of worldwide professional baking experience and has presented cookery demos at The Ideal Home Exhibition, The Foodies Festival, The Free From and Allergy Show, Yours Magazine and VegfestUK.
Chef Danielle is delighted to be invited back to present at The Ideal Home Show - and is the only Vegan Pastry Chef presenting there.
Danielle loved her recent interview with Phil Williams on Radio Two, enjoys being interviewed on podcasts and is a regular on BBC Three Counties radio.
Danielle has been featured in media UK wide as well as overseas in the USA where she was invited to present a fine dining afternoon tea in Florida.
Her Vegan and Gluten Free Afternoon Tea Clubs are proving a sell out success and her recent media event at the prestigious Milestone Hotel attracted celebrities, media and influencers … and had a waiting list of attendees.
Chef Danielle has catered for corporate events including handbag brand Vendula London's 20th anniversary party and Vegan Business Tribe Live.
Danielle also attended the Face of VEGAN Happy winners event where she presented singer Heather Small MBE with a personalised vegan cake.
Chef Danielle has recently launched her fine dining vegan / gluten free baking classes at the legendary Divertimenti Masterclasses and we are excited to see this develop.
In addition Danielle is embarking on a mission - to bring back the art of baking after realising that people often spend more time watching cookery TV programmes rather than baking themselves. This is an ongoing venture that already has received media coverage.
And it is no surprise that Danielle's private catering guests have been growing with requests for private afternoon teas and other special occasions.
